Case Study 1: The Brides Project

the brides project ann arbor case study
The Brides Project officially launched in 2011 with a powerful misson: To provide brides with a socially-conscious, budget and eco-friendly option for purchasing a bridal gown, and use these proceeds at the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor for people touched by cancer. Sparklefurry got involved at the very beginning, meeting with the leadership team to gain an understanding of their overall goals and target audience. The goal was to create something approachable, welcoming and appealing to a variety of brides, while embracing the grass roots feel of the project. With that, a hand drawn logo resembling a dress was created and the simple tagline of “Donate. Buy. Support.” got to the essence of what the project was trying to embrace. Sparklefurry contributed to the overall brand look and feel by designing the business cards, letterhead, stationery, signage, brochures, advertising and notecards, and of course, the website. The retail shop for The Brides Project opened its doors on September 17th, 2011 and has already exceeded it’s sales goals for the first two months of operation!
